Issue/Introduction

You want to create CPU monitor from the HTTP/HTTPS management console

Resolution

From the ProxySG's Web Management Console, open the Maintenance (Java) or Administration (new GUI) tab  /  Service Information  /  Snapshots. Click New, name the new snapshot and click OK

On the same snapshot page, Click on the snapshot that was just created  /   Edit  /  Add the following :

  • Target : /Diagnostics/CPU_Monitor/Statistics/advanced
  • Interval : default interval is 1440, but when troubleshooting, it's best to set the interval to something lower as directed by technical support. An interval as low as 1 minute could be necessary for CPU spikes that don't last very long
  • Maximum Number to Store : Depending on interval and how long you expect to monitor, max value supported is 99 so if 1 minutes interval used, it will cover 99 minutes.
  • Check the Enable option
  • Click ok

To View the CPU Monitor snapshot, access https://<proxy IP>:8082/Diagnostics/Snapshot and click on the name of the snapshots you entered above.
